Salary: USD 120,000 - 150,000 / annual
Daymark Health is a value-based oncology company transforming cancer care through a comprehensive platform combining dedicated care navigation, symptom-focused support, behavioral health, and social resources with evidence-based interventions and hybrid in-person/virtual care.
You will lead Risk Adjustment Operations while serving as a core member of the Clinical Operations team, sitting at the intersection of clinical, finance, product, and data functions. Your primary responsibility is ensuring accurate capture of patient complexity that reflects true clinical needs.
Key responsibilities include: building and scaling Daymark's risk adjustment approach from opportunity identification through workflow embedding and performance measurement; defining and operationalizing risk capture aligned with care model and payer contracts; identifying documentation improvement opportunities (suspects, refreshables); designing and implementing workflows that integrate risk adjustment into care delivery; partnering with Product and Data teams to ensure workflows are reflected in tools and supported by accurate data; evaluating and managing vendors for chart prep, suspecting, and coding; establishing performance tracking and reporting cadences.
Beyond risk adjustment, you'll contribute to broader Clinical Operations priorities including care delivery workflow improvement, enrollment operations, cross-team coordination, operational readiness for new markets, and high-priority initiatives as they emerge. You'll translate strategic priorities into operational workplans, ensure KPIs have clear ownership, support operational review cadences, and identify execution gaps.
Ideal candidates have experience in risk adjustment, population health, or value-based care operations; strong understanding of HCC coding, suspecting, and chart review workflows; experience embedding workflows into clinical care delivery; experience partnering with Product, Data, and Analytics teams; and startup or high-growth experience. You are strategic and execution-oriented, can translate complex concepts into practical workflows, work comfortably across clinical/operational/technical teams, thrive in ambiguity, and enjoy building from scratch while owning a domain and contributing broadly.
