Deliveroo is seeking an experienced Operations Representative to join the Rider Onboarding & Compliance team in Hyderabad. This role is central to the marketplace's integrity, focusing on identity verification, right-to-work document validation, and compliance management for UK and European markets.
Day-to-day responsibilities include executing document verifications across applicant onboarding and active rider compliance lifecycles, managing high-volume daily and weekly compliance queues while maintaining rigorous quality standards, identifying and escalating suspicious patterns and fraud indicators, maintaining auditable case records, and loading riders into scheduled compliance sweeps. You'll also flag operational bottlenecks, policy gaps, and tooling issues to your Team Lead with actionable improvement recommendations.
The ideal candidate brings exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in repetitive, high-volume review tasks, proven ability to manage work queues independently while balancing competing priorities and hitting productivity targets, sound judgment to evaluate complex evidence against policy guidance, excellent written and spoken English communication skills, and practical familiarity with document verification, KYC/AML, back-office operations, or case management tools like Salesforce, Google Sheets, or Excel. Additional European languages (French, Dutch, Italian, Spanish) are a plus.
Working pattern includes day shifts with flexibility for UK/European time zones and weekends/public holidays. Start date is October 19, 2026.
