Salary: USD 118,100 - 302,400 / annual
Veeam Software, the Data and AI Trust Company, is seeking a Technical Program Manager, M&A to lead strategic cross-functional projects that drive technology integrations, environment consolidations, and process automations in support of mergers and acquisitions. This role ensures seamless technical alignment between acquired entities and Veeam's business operations, enabling rapid value realization and minimal business disruption throughout the M&A lifecycle.
You will lead technical discovery with acquiring and acquired company stakeholders to uncover integration and migration needs, analyze technical infrastructure, systems, and data flows, and identify integration points and redundancies. You'll facilitate application rationalization, identifying platforms to consolidate, retire, or migrate post-merger. Your responsibilities include performing business analysis activities such as requirements gathering, business process mapping, gap analysis, and translation of business needs into functional and technical requirements.
You will design process and data migration strategies and manage migration and merger project execution. You'll create detailed runbooks, technical documentation, project schedules, work breakdown structures, and ongoing program status reporting. Working with business leadership, you'll define and communicate program objectives, plans, project scope, and impacted workstreams. You'll identify stakeholders, secure necessary resources, and facilitate stakeholder communication throughout the program lifecycle.
You'll coordinate functional technical teams to achieve program objectives, resolve blockers, and maintain focus on value delivery. You'll ensure successful program delivery through effective change management, documentation, KPI measurement, and achievement of predefined goals. Technologies you'll work with include Salesforce, Marketo, NetSuite, Coupa, ServiceNow, Tableau, JIRA, Monday.com, and Microsoft Office/Teams/SharePoint/Confluence.
Note: The team is looking for someone based on the east coast or willing to work Eastern hours to align with the team.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree required; preference for technical fields
- Experience in IT and business applications program management within a technology company
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Ability to develop deep understanding of technology environments, systems architecture, software design principles, and system interactions
- Experience collaborating with technical teams, software deployment and integration, and familiarity with testing methodologies and quality assurance practices
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret relational data, technical business requirements, and create process flow diagrams
- Business analysis skills including requirements elicitation, process analysis, gap analysis, data analysis, and translation of business needs into actionable solution requirements
- Understanding of business processes across sales, marketing, quote-to-cash lifecycle, finance, and other business functions
- Experience proactively identifying project risks and developing mitigation strategies
- Effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with ability to work successfully across culturally diverse teams and remain focused on high-level business goals

- Experience with vendor relationships and management
- Experience leading enterprise technology integrations or large-scale transformation programs
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions, including application consolidation, migration, or integration initiatives
