Salary: USD 75,000 - 120,000 / annual

Formlabs is seeking a Technical Program Manager to shepherd new 3D printing technology from concept through production. You will serve as the nexus between program teams, product stakeholders, and senior management, coordinating all activities from design to product launch. Key Responsibilities: - Manage strategy, overall planning, execution, and delivery of technically complex products from concept through production - Own program budgets, including staffing plans, and be accountable for all project spending - Create and maintain product cost models throughout development; ensure end-product costs hit targets - Act as the key link between program teams and stakeholders, with frequent reporting to company leadership - Apply disciplined project management methodology to define scope and develop plans that deliver within cost and schedule constraints - Monitor projects on an ongoing basis, evaluate progress and quality, manage issue resolution, and communicate status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management - Drive continuous improvement in schedule and project efficiency You will work cross-functionally with product, engineering, production, and supply chain teams, communicating upward to senior management while managing high output from individual contributors. Requirements: - Deep understanding of technical product design life cycles and problem-solving processes - Ability to apply technical knowledge to drive decision-making (trade-off discussions, program strategy) - Business acumen; ability to break down program decisions in financial terms - Experience creating and implementing program management tools for communication, scheduling, risk management, resource planning, cost tracking, and production planning - Outstanding verbal and written communication skills - B.S. degree or higher in engineering or science discipline Bonus Qualifications: - Experience shipping high-complexity technical products as a design engineer - Experience in start-up or highly entrepreneurial environments - Experience leading hardware development with overseas manufacturing partners
