Charta Health is building an operating system for modern healthcare organizations. Their AI platform streamlines workflows across revenue cycle, clinical operations, and administrative functions, helping providers and payers operate more efficiently while delivering better patient care. The company is backed by Bain Capital Ventures and is on a mission to make every healthcare dollar accountable and every chart accurate.
As Technical Program Manager, you will own the operational excellence of the engineering organization, establishing and evolving cadences, tooling, and sources of truth that keep work legible across every pod. You'll define and drive execution frameworks for high-stakes technical roadmaps, enabling teams to make decentralized decisions without slowing down.
Your responsibilities include managing the technical roadmap from early-stage discovery through full-scale deployment, coordinating launches of new AI capabilities across the platform. You'll support the operating layer of customer implementations across multiple concurrent accounts, tracking delivery health, scoping engineering work to align with delivery expectations, and surfacing at-risk go-lives before they slip.
You'll help establish cross-functional programs that keep delivery healthy—evaluation, onboarding, quality—and maintain them. As the source of truth for program health, you'll translate complex technical and clinical status into actionable updates for leadership and individual contributors.
The ideal candidate has 4+ years in technical program management or engineering operations within high-growth technology environments. You're tech-fluent with deep experience working alongside software engineers, comfortable navigating technical environments including APIs, development workflows, data pipelines, and AI/ML systems. While healthcare background isn't required, you're energized by learning regulated, high-stakes domains like clinical documentation, medical coding, and payer rules. You've run delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams and can sense when one is about to slip. You give and receive direct, honest feedback with senior leadership and peers, thrive in ambiguity, make high-quality decisions quickly, and take full accountability for outcomes. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to influence without authority across pods are essential.
