Lambda is hiring a Technical Product Marketing Manager to own product marketing for its Public Cloud portfolio—a unified cloud platform purpose-built for AI workloads, spanning on-demand and reserved GPU instances, 1-Click Clusters, managed Kubernetes and Slurm, and supporting infrastructure services.
In this role, you will define how Lambda's Public Cloud portfolio is positioned, packaged, launched, and enabled across self-service and sales-assisted motions. You'll work daily with product management, engineering, sales, solutions engineering, enablement, finance, and marketing to drive adoption and revenue.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning Public Cloud product marketing end-to-end: defining and maintaining positioning, messaging, audience segmentation, and use-case libraries across the portfolio. Serve as the primary product marketing partner to the Public Cloud business unit.
- Building use cases and GTM architecture: translating training, fine-tuning, inference, and proof-of-concept workloads into documented, sellable use cases mapped to segment and infrastructure requirements. Establish customer progression paths from on-demand evaluation to managed services.
- Executing product launches: owning launch execution for new features, instance types, APIs, and managed services from roadmap planning through general availability, including positioning, technical validation, content, field readiness, and post-launch analysis.
- Creating technical content: producing messaging, solution briefs, datasheets, benchmark narratives, technical blogs, reference architectures, API walkthroughs, and use cases. Every technical claim must be validated with Product Management and Engineering.
- Supporting sales and solutions engineering: building discovery frameworks, qualification guidance, pitch materials, battlecards, technical training, and competitive displacement narratives.
- Enabling the broader marketing organization: equipping demand generation, growth, content, events, web, and customer marketing teams with approved messaging, use cases, audience guidance, and launch materials.
You bring 7+ years of product marketing, technical marketing, product management, or related experience in cloud infrastructure, IaaS, managed services, or developer platforms. You have demonstrated ownership of a technical product portfolio including positioning, use-case development, launches, competitive strategy, and field enablement. Critically, you possess deep working knowledge of AI infrastructure: GPU architectures, bare metal and virtualized compute, multi-node cluster topology, InfiniBand and RDMA fabrics, Ethernet networking, storage and data movement, Kubernetes and Slurm, APIs, observability, reliability, and cloud security. You can independently reason about these systems and explain tradeoffs to ML engineers, Enterprise architects, sales teams, and executive buyers. You have a proven track record producing technical content (benchmarks, whitepapers, architecture guides, datasheets, solution briefs, technical demos) that withstands engineering review.
Nice-to-have qualifications include hands-on experience deploying AI or HPC workloads using cloud consoles, APIs, CLIs, Kubernetes, or Slurm; familiarity with CUDA, PyTorch, NCCL, distributed training frameworks, and MLPerf; experience marketing managed Kubernetes, managed Slurm, GPU cloud infrastructure, or MLOps offerings; and previous experience as a product manager, solutions architect, infrastructure engineer, developer advocate, or technical sales engineer.
The role requires presence in Lambda's San Jose office 4 days per week, with Tuesday designated as the work-from-home day.
