Deepgram is the leading platform for Voice AI, providing real-time APIs for speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and voice agents at scale. The company serves 200,000+ developers and 1,300+ organizations including Twilio, Cloudflare, and others, and has processed over 50,000 years of audio.
You will be Deepgram's first Technical GTM Enablement Manager, serving as the force multiplier for the technical side of the revenue organization. This role sits at the intersection of Product, Applied Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales, and is focused on making what the best technologists do repeatable across the entire technical field organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and continuously improve structured onboarding and ramp programs for technical GTM roles, establishing consistent technical standards across teams
- Build technical field frameworks and playbooks covering technical discovery, POC/evaluation standards, architecture guidance, technical handoffs, and escalation readiness
- Build and maintain technical certifications that stay current as the platform evolves
- Lead technical readiness for product launches, ensuring field teams are prepared before GA
- Extract subject matter expertise from Product, PMM, and senior field technologists and convert it into scalable, repeatable enablement
- Partner with Sales Enablement on technical aspects of the sale, including discovery, evaluation strategy, competitive differentiation, and solution positioning
- Operate AI-first, building tools, agents, and workflows that allow a small enablement function to serve a growing technical organization
The role emphasizes shipping useful solutions quickly over perfect design, earning credibility with senior technical people, and leveraging AI to transform productivity. This is not a training delivery role or external content creation role—most of what should exist does not yet exist, and you will build it.
Deepgram operates with an AI-first mindset where all team members actively use and experiment with advanced AI tools as core to daily work. Change is rapid, and the role requires comfort with experimentation, adaptation, and continuous learning.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years in technical, customer-facing roles: solutions engineering, solutions architecture, customer success engineering, technical account management, implementation, or forward-deployed work
- Real time spent building enablement for technical teams, not just delivering it
- Hands-on fluency with APIs, SDKs, integrations, and developer workflows; ability to run live demos, read customer integrations, troubleshoot L1-style issues, and hold genuine architecture conversations
- Experience building onboarding, certification, or technical development programs that people actually completed
- Demonstrated ability to extract content from busy subject matter experts and ship anyway
- Portfolio item: something you have built (tool, agent, script, or workflow) that permanently eliminated recurring work—describe what it was, what it replaced, and what it is still doing today
- AI-native operating model with specific workflows that structurally depend on AI, and a clear account of how you would rebuild them if those tools disappeared
NICE-TO-HAVE:
- Experience with speech recognition, TTS, voice agents, LLM orchestration, or other developer-first API products
- Experience enabling both pre-sales and post-sales technical roles with a point of view on how they differ
- Working fluency with scripting or agent building: Python, TypeScript, workflow tools, agent frameworks, or equivalent
- Strong writing and narrative skills for translating complex technical concepts into clear field guidance
