Sentry is seeking a Technical Enablement Director to drive platform adoption and usage through strategic education and enablement programs. This role combines product evangelism, content creation, and technical teaching to inspire and educate both internal employees and external customers and partners.
You will own the end-to-end strategy and execution of Sentry's training and educational initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
- Become a Sentry product expert with deep knowledge of all platform capabilities and customer use cases
- Own and manage the Sentry University virtual learning platform, including curriculum development, content creation, and user experience
- Create a comprehensive training strategy to accelerate customer time-to-value and platform adoption
- Build and operationalize a certification program for customers, partners, and employees
- Design all end-user training content for use by customer success managers and solutions engineers
- Create and deliver instructor-led training curriculum through virtual group sessions and in-person workshops
- Partner with sales and marketing to track lead progress through Sentry University
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to keep enablement materials current and aligned with company branding and messaging
- Develop technical enablement programs for customer-facing teams on topics like logging, monitoring, and cloud technologies
- Establish KPIs to measure training program adoption and effectiveness
You will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Engineering, Design, Sales, and Customer Success. This is a strategic and operational role requiring both internal and external focus, with a mix of content creation, teaching, and analytical work.
The ideal candidate is a technologist who loves discussing technology with engineers and engineering leaders, enjoys making customer impact through education, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is passionate about developer tools and software development life cycle topics.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge in the application monitoring field
- 5+ years of experience in technical training development and delivery
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience (mandatory)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to build rapport with technical and business audiences
- Strong presentation skills
- Significant experience working with customers and partners, both remotely and in person
- Ability to develop structured training plans with measurable metrics
- Experience leveraging various learning tools and media for optimal learning outcomes
