Salary: USD 200,000 - 230,000 / annual
Together AI is an AI-native cloud platform built for AI engineers and developers, offering high-performance inference, reinforcement learning, and pre-training capabilities around a marketplace of open-source models. The company has experienced 10X year-over-year growth and serves over a million developers globally, processing over 400 trillion tokens monthly.
This newly created role will lead community engagement strategy and execution, positioning the candidate as the primary advocate for Together AI's technical audience. The role owns responsibility for building and nurturing the developer community across X, LinkedIn, and Discord, ensuring current users and prospective customers find the resources and support they need to succeed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as the heartbeat of the Together AI technical community, understanding developer and researcher needs and enabling their success
- Operating and managing community channels across X, LinkedIn, and Discord
- Developing and executing content strategy that delivers engaging, relevant content including learning materials, user-generated content, and more
- Collaborating with marketing, developer relations, and solution architect teams to execute the content strategy
- Experimenting with new ideas, content formats, competitions, and community initiatives to discover what resonates
- Translating community insights into highly engaging in-person meetups and events (approximately 20% of role), working with Events and DevRel teams
- The role is primarily online-focused (80%) with a smaller in-person component (20%)
Requirements:
- 3+ years of developer marketing and community engagement experience
- Deep understanding of the AI developer audience and their needs
- Strong awareness of social spaces where developers operate, ideally with active personal presence on X
- Natural inclination toward social presence with ability to stay current on developer world trends
- Strong ownership mindset and ability to build initiatives from the ground up
- Data-driven approach with ability to ideate and experiment continuously
- Ideally, personal developer background with engineering experience
