Casap is a Series A fintech startup building an AI-native disputes automation and fraud prevention platform for financial institutions. Founded by product leaders from Robinhood and Chime, the company has raised over $30M and achieved 10x revenue growth in the past year.
As Technical Chief of Staff, you will serve as a connective hub between founders and the broader organization, owning three core responsibilities:
**Progress Tracking & Initiative Management**: Maintain a single source of truth for company initiatives across product, engineering, and go-to-market tracks. Run recurring reviews to surface status, risks, and blockers early. Translate ambiguous goals into scoped workstreams with clear owners, milestones, and success criteria. Report progress to founders with clear signals on what is on track, at risk, or needs decision.
**Enterprise Due Diligence Program**: Own the end-to-end diligence process for banks, fintechs, and credit unions evaluating Casap. Manage security questionnaires, vendor risk assessments, and architecture reviews. Build and maintain a reusable answer library to accelerate and standardize responses. Coordinate subject matter experts across engineering, security, and legal to meet deadlines.
**Compliance & Security Operations**: Drive SOC 2 program execution including evidence collection, control ownership, auditor coordination, and remediation tracking. Support PCI compliance requirements and maintain current scope, documentation, and attestations. Manage certificates of insurance and renewals. Organize policies, records, and audit artifacts for rapid production. Run monthly security reviews covering access, vulnerabilities, incidents, and open findings.
You will move fluidly between roadmap reviews, security questionnaires, audit evidence, and vendor conversations daily. Success means nothing slips, every commitment has a clear owner and date, and financial institution partners trust Casap because documentation and controls withstand scrutiny.
This is a high-context, high-ownership role requiring 3+ years in chief of staff, technical program management, security compliance, or similar cross-functional roles, ideally at startups or in fintech. You need working knowledge of SOC 2 and PCI DSS compliance frameworks, technical depth to discuss APIs, data flows, infrastructure, and access controls credibly, and experience responding to enterprise security questionnaires or vendor due diligence with regulated institutions. Exceptional written communication and documentation habits are essential.
