Nerdio is a Series C SaaS company that simplifies cloud deployment and management for IT professionals. The company's platform helps enterprises and managed service providers deploy, manage, and cost-optimize Microsoft technologies including Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Windows 365, and Microsoft Intune. Nerdio is used by over 5,000 organizations across 50+ countries.
The Technical Account Manager (TAM) owns the post-sale technical relationship for an assigned portfolio of customer accounts, driving product adoption, environment health, and long-term value realization in partnership with the wider Customer Success team.
Key Responsibilities:
Onboarding & Implementation: Participate in sales-to-CS handoffs and review proof-of-value plans and scoping documents. Lead technical portions of kickoff calls, including environment reviews and use-case setup. Own technical delivery during onboarding—standing up AVD, Windows 365, Intune, and Nerdio Manager; coordinating with the customer's technical team; and managing implementation runbooks. Guide customers through software implementation and provide optimization recommendations as they move toward steady-state use.
Account Management & Relationship Ownership: Manage a book of corporate customer accounts and serve as the primary technical point of contact for questions, issue coordination, and problem resolution. Advocate for customers and build strong relationships with technical stakeholders to ensure effective utilization of Nerdio Manager and maximize customer value. Serve as a trusted technical advisor, maintaining consistent engagement that deepens relationships over time. Coordinate technical touchpoints across customer stakeholders—IT operations, engineering, and finance. Own the technical relationship across the full customer lifecycle from onboarding through renewal. Develop and maintain account strategies aligned to customer goals and success criteria.
Technical Advisory & Day-to-Day Support: Maintain deep, current product knowledge of Nerdio Manager and the broader AVD/Azure ecosystem to serve as a credible technical advisor. Act as the go-to technical resource for assigned customers, resolving issues and answering product questions. Continually build understanding of each customer's evolving technical and business needs to shape recommendations and priorities.
The role suits someone who enjoys variety, stays organized across many relationships simultaneously, and spots issues early. You'll work across a broad portfolio of corporate accounts at different stages of their Nerdio journey.
