Veeam Software is seeking a Technical Account Manager to support customers during implementations and beyond. This role combines technical expertise with project management and consulting to help customers unlock the full value of Veeam's data resilience and security solutions.
You will be responsible for all aspects of planning, architecture, coordination, and management of post-sales technical engagements. Your focus will be on architecting and managing availability solutions, including data protection and monitoring across diverse environments.
Key responsibilities include: supporting delivery and consulting services to meet solution design requirements; providing overall project guidance including plans, schedules, communication, and resource management; assisting with solution assessment, design, and post-installation issue resolution; creating technical documentation, white papers, and best practices guides; delivering onsite knowledge transfer; analyzing installed environments and recommending optimal Veeam configurations; facilitating communication between clients and Veeam support; identifying upsell opportunities; and contributing to process improvements.
You must have a minimum of 5 years in IT industry with hands-on experience in virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), storage systems, networking, data management, and enterprise applications. Required certifications or equivalent experience include VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSE, and project management credentials (Prince2, ITIL, PMP). A bachelor's degree in technology is required. You should demonstrate proven consulting and project management experience, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects. Experience with Kubernetes, cloud technologies, and security concepts is valued. The role requires occasional overnight travel to meet customer objectives.
