Atomic is seeking a Technical Account Manager to own the ongoing technical success of their reseller and partner portfolio, working with financial institution customers to ensure smooth integrations and successful outcomes.
In this role, you'll own the technical operating rhythm for a portfolio of accounts, partnering with Account Executives to define, scope, and track customer work and future opportunities. You'll coordinate across partner teams, financial institution customers, and internal teams (Implementation, Support, Product, Engineering) to keep ownership, next steps, risks, and timelines clear and transparent.
Key responsibilities include building reusable partner-facing and customer-facing enablement materials such as welcome packets, onboarding templates, one-pagers, and support guides. You'll identify recurring integration issues, support patterns, and product/process gaps, then turn them into durable improvements. You'll run customer status calls and internal planning conversations with the right attendees and clear decision/action trails, and escalate technical, support, scope, and timeline risks early with evidence, customer impact, and recommended paths forward.
You'll need excellent verbal and written communication skills for understanding customer issues, asking clarifying questions, and providing updates and explanations. Prior experience in technical account management, implementation management, solutions consulting, professional services, partner success, customer success engineering, or similar customer-facing technical roles is required. Strong project and stakeholder management across multiple accounts or workstreams is essential, along with strong operational instincts around owners, timelines, risks, decisions, and systems of record.
You should be curious about partner and customer businesses beyond just tickets or tasks, able to spot repeated patterns and turn them into scalable processes or documentation, and interested in technical topics with a drive to understand the nuts-and-bolts of software integrations. Nice-to-haves include fintech or financial institution experience, familiarity with APIs, JSON, webhooks, Postman/curl, SQL, or observability tooling, experience with planning and automation tools like Pylon and Linear, and some experience writing or reviewing code and technical documentation.
