As Sales Manager, you will build and lead a team of Account Executives focused on mid-market and enterprise customers in the security and operations space. You'll own a multi-million-dollar new ARR target and report directly to executive leadership. This is a hands-on role where you'll be actively involved in closing strategic deals alongside your team while establishing a repeatable sales motion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Hiring, developing, and coaching a high-performing team of full-cycle Account Executives focused on mid-market and enterprise new business
- Owning and exceeding a multi-million-dollar new ARR target with disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, and execution
- Leading from the front by building relationships with strategic stakeholders and participating in team calls weekly
- Establishing a repeatable mid-market GTM playbook across both SLED (State, Local, Education) and Corporate segments
- Partnering with Executive Leadership, Marketing, and Product to refine ICP, messaging, and pricing based on live deal feedback
- Building the operational infrastructure for the team: territories, outbound strategy, qualification standards, deal reviews, and performance management
- Setting a high bar for team culture around preparation, call execution, follow-up, forecasting, and celebrating wins
The role targets national and Canadian accounts, with a focus on highly technical buyers in the security and operations space.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of B2B sales experience, with at least 2 years managing high-performing teams
- Proven success building or scaling sales teams in high-growth environments
- Proven track record of above-target performance and commitment in previous roles
- Experience selling SaaS, security, or enterprise technology to a highly technical audience
- Comfortable leading a team selling to national and Canadian accounts
- Hands-on, results-driven, and obsessed with execution and coaching
- Proficiency with ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and HubSpot
- Resilient in challenging and fast-paced environments
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with ability to influence at all levels
- Ability to work in an onsite environment
