As Team Lead for Property Management, you will oversee a team of property managers responsible for a designated portfolio of rental properties. You'll drive accountability across performance, customer service, and cross-functional collaboration while managing complex, evolving challenges. Your core responsibilities include: supervising property managers and conducting performance reviews; providing exceptional investor service and handling escalations; resolving complex problems and implementing permanent solutions; advocating internally for investor goals with emphasis on revenue maximization and cost reduction; implementing quality control checks; building team culture and strong cross-departmental relationships; developing and standardizing SOPs and policies; collaborating with product and technology teams to create efficiencies; and assisting with court appearances and utility-related matters as needed.
You must have an active Real Estate License, a Bachelor's degree in business or related field (or equivalent), and 3+ years of people management experience. 7+ years in operations, real estate, customer service, or account management is preferred. Prior property management, cost management, or revenue management experience is required. You should demonstrate extreme attention to detail, excellent communication skills, self-motivation, ability to thrive in fast-paced startup environments, and tech proficiency. The role requires 10% travel within the assigned area and a valid driver's license. Compensation is $80,000 annual base salary plus performance-based bonus, with adjustment possible based on experience and skills.
