You will build and develop a field sales team in your region, starting either as the first team member or expanding an existing small team. This is a hands-on leadership role combining direct sales responsibility with team management and coaching.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and expand your team through structured coaching, shadowing, and role-play exercises, not just monitoring and control.
- Lead by example: during the ramp-up phase, you will personally acquire new customers with a clearly defined individual sales target, ensuring deep market knowledge.
- Maintain market presence by accompanying your team to client meetings, supporting acquisition efforts, and delivering live product demos.
- Drive data-driven decisions using KPIs and pipeline metrics; monitor team member performance and implement early interventions.
- Establish structure and rhythm through weekly planning, 1:1 conversations, rapid problem-solving, and CRM discipline.
- Strategically develop your region and contribute to optimizing sales processes company-wide.
- Participate in the Sales Manager Academy, a structured leadership development program from day one.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Attractive base salary plus uncapped commission tied to both team and individual performance.
- Company car with fuel card, MacBook, and iPhone.
- €50 monthly tax-free allowance (Probonio).
- Clear KPIs and performance transparency.
- Flexible weekly planning and trust-based working hours.
- Team events including summer festival, winter celebration, and regular team activities.
- Input on hiring decisions and team structure.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience, with proven field sales background and direct closing responsibility.
- Demonstrated success in new customer acquisition, backed by quantifiable results and clear metrics.
- Leadership experience is a plus but not required; more important are proven capabilities in mentoring, onboarding colleagues, or leading projects.
- Data affinity: comfortable working with KPIs, pipeline management, and forecasting to drive decisions.
- Proficiency with digital tools and CRM systems.
- Independent, structured work style with ability to self-manage regional planning and set clear priorities.
- Native or fluent German; good English proficiency.
- Class B driver's license and willingness to travel regularly within your region.
