Adyen is seeking an experienced Team Lead to manage a team of Implementation Engineers in North America, based in Toronto. You will lead a group of technical professionals responsible for supporting large, strategic customers through solution design, integration, and go-live processes across diverse payment solutions including online payments, in-person payments, marketplaces, card issuing, and financial services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and coaching a team of implementation engineers to deliver excellent customer experiences and efficient go-lives with robust, scalable integrations
- Serving as a technical escalation point and strategic advisor to implementation managers on complex projects and technical challenges
- Building an inspiring, collaborative team environment with strong communication and feedback culture
- Scaling the team while maintaining Adyen's unique culture and values
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization
- Collaborating cross-functionally to advance the global Implementation organization
- Executing strategic initiatives aligned with organizational OKRs
- Leading change initiatives and serving as an ambassador for new processes
You bring at least 2 years of experience building and managing teams of implementation managers, technical consultants, or solution engineers, with proven expertise in coaching, goal-setting, and team development. You have a strong background with integration projects in large global companies within professional services, finance, retail, or technology sectors. You demonstrate a track record of driving global process change, establishing tools and procedures, and understanding the complexities of global commerce and regional dependencies. You are comfortable working across time zones and building effective relationships with international teams.
