AccuRx is a healthcare productivity platform transforming the NHS by consolidating fragmented systems into a single, unified digital toolkit. Used by 98% of GP practices, the platform includes Total Triage for patient demand management, Self-Book for appointment scheduling, Patient Questionnaires for long-term condition management, Accumail for cross-care staff communication, and Accurx Scribe, an AI-powered note-taking tool that drafts medical notes in real-time.
As Team Lead, Business Development for the North, you will lead a high-impact player-coach role balancing hands-on selling with building and coaching a high-performing outbound sales team. You'll drive mid-market SME adoption across primary care networks, GP practices, and federations while launching new products across the region. Note: the role is based in London but requires travel throughout the North of England.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building an outbound sales machine with structured, high-volume mass cadences and buyer-signal-based strategies to scale mid-market SME adoption
- Leading as a player-coach: closing your own key target deals while setting direction, coaching, and developing a team of BDAs and BDMs to hit revenue targets
- Driving new product growth and expansion opportunities across the product suite, including Scribe and unreleased products
- Conducting data-driven market mapping using platforms, complex datasets, and spreadsheets to analyze opportunities, forecast pipelines, and convert data into commercial priorities
- Engaging directly with primary care stakeholders at webinars, regional events, and ground-level interactions to stay close to market needs
- Integrating AI tools (such as Notion AI) into team workflows to capture customer insights, refine audience segmentation, and automate sequences
- Collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, the wider BD team, and Customer Success to drive deal conversion and regional growth
Requirements:
- Proven sales expertise with background in traditional sales (SDR, AE, or Sales Manager) and consistent revenue target achievement
- Experience managing, mentoring, or coaching salespeople with passion for holding team members accountable and driving high performance
- Hands-on expertise running structured outbound cadences, converting high-volume pipelines, and executing mid-market sales motions at scale
- High proficiency with spreadsheets, platforms, and complex datasets; ability to turn raw data into operational decisions and customer pitches
- Strong target-setting and pipeline forecasting capability
- Driver mindset with urgency and resourcefulness to build repeatable processes in a fast-changing startup environment
- Preferred: experience selling into the NHS, primary care networks, or complex public sector and policy environments
