Inspira Education Group is a fast-growing edtech startup democratizing access to high-quality coaching for students pursuing medical, legal, business, and college admissions. The company operates as a network of top admissions coaches, building software and services to disrupt traditional application processes. Backed by leading VCs including Zeev Ventures, Quiet Capital, and Craft Ventures, Inspira is scaling rapidly. This Talent Sourcer role treats recruitment as a strategic, high-performing function rather than a support operation. You'll own end-to-end sourcing for hard-to-fill, niche, and senior roles across multiple functions simultaneously. The position requires deep expertise in Boolean search syntax and LinkedIn Recruiter, with the ability to design advanced searches that target passive candidates who aren't actively job hunting. Key responsibilities include: designing and executing advanced Boolean and X-ray searches across LinkedIn Recruiter and other platforms; building sharp Ideal Candidate Profiles in partnership with hiring managers; owning concurrent sourcing pipelines while maintaining quality; running high-volume, personalized outreach campaigns and optimizing messaging based on response data; screening candidates before handoff to hiring teams; documenting playbooks and standard operating procedures; tracking sourcing metrics (response rates, conversion, time-to-fill) and acting on insights; and rebuilding search strategies when approaches aren't working rather than simply increasing volume. You'll need 3-5 years of recruiting and sourcing experience with demonstrated expertise in Boolean search and LinkedIn Recruiter. A track record of filling hard or senior roles through proactive sourcing (not just managing inbound applications) is essential. Experience sourcing across multiple functions, not just one specialty, is required. Excellent written communication skills are critical—your outreach must generate responses from people not actively looking. You should think systemically, documenting processes as you go and building toward repeatable, scalable workflows. Comfort with autonomy and managing multiple concurrent searches is expected. The role is based in Inspira's Gramercy office in NYC and requires in-office attendance 5 days per week. The company offers comprehensive benefits including 100% employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance; pre-tax benefits (FSA, DCFSA, HSA, Commuter); flexible PTO and paid holidays; and 401(k) with company match.
