You will serve as a Talent Researcher, operating at the intersection of research, analysis, and recruiting execution. This is a proactive sourcing and talent strategy role, not a reactive position. Your primary focus will be on talent mapping, market research, pipeline building, and identifying high-potential candidates who may not be actively job searching.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining talent maps across priority hiring areas by researching companies, teams, and talent pools for technical, business, and leadership roles
- Partnering with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring needs, define target candidate profiles, and build actionable pipelines
- Delivering market intelligence on talent availability, geographic markets, compensation trends, competitive companies, and emerging talent pools
- Developing proactive talent communities and evergreen pipelines for areas with ongoing hiring needs
- Uncovering high-potential candidates and adjacent talent pools that others may miss
- Refining research workflows, tools, documentation, and data to improve scalability and effectiveness
- Rapidly translating new hiring priorities into structured research, target lists, market insights, and candidate pipelines

REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in talent research, executive search, sourcing, recruiting, or similar role with strong research component
- Experience building talent maps, target company lists, candidate pipelines, or market research across complex or competitive talent markets
- Strong sourcing and research skills, including proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn Talent Insights, ATS platforms, spreadsheets, and other research tools
- Analytical mindset with ability to identify patterns, understand markets, and convert information into actionable insights
- Strong written communication skills and ability to present research in clear, structured, useful formats
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and adapting quickly as hiring priorities shift
- Proactive mindset with interest in building pipelines before urgent need arises
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience supporting technical, GTM, G&A, or leadership searches
- Experience at high-growth technology companies
