Cara is a domain-specific AI platform purpose-built for insurance, enabling agencies, brokerages, and wholesalers to automate servicing, accelerate sales, and scale operations with a 24/7 digital workforce. The company is one of the fastest-growing AI companies in the insurance industry, with a team of experts from Stripe, Blend, Strategy&, and Travelers, backed by top-tier VCs.
As a Talent Partner, you will own end-to-end recruiting across technical and business roles, including engineering, product, GTM, and business functions. Your responsibilities span the full recruiting lifecycle: sourcing, talent mapping, candidate relationship building, offer negotiation, and close. You will partner directly with founders and hiring managers to define talent profiles, develop recruiting strategies, and make strategic people decisions.
Beyond recruiting, you will support broader people operations and employee development initiatives. This includes designing and implementing onboarding programs, supporting performance management processes, and building development opportunities for growing teams. You will proactively identify and cultivate relationships with exceptional talent across the AI and insurance communities, positioning Cara as an employer of choice.
You will build scalable recruiting and people processes as the company grows from its current stage. This is a highly hands-on role requiring someone comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup environment, managing multiple priorities, and wearing multiple hats as the people function scales.
You bring 3+ years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or people operations, ideally in high-growth technology companies. You have a proven track record of independently managing full-cycle recruiting searches from initial talent mapping through offer close. You are comfortable partnering closely with founders, executives, and hiring managers on sensitive talent and people decisions. You demonstrate strong judgment, communication, and relationship-building skills, with a proactive and organized approach to work.
