Normal Computing is an applied AI company building foundational hardware and software for the semiconductor industry and critical AI infrastructure. As Talent Operations Specialist, you will be the operational backbone of their global recruiting function, reporting to the Head of Talent and working across five time zones (NYC, San Francisco, London, Copenhagen, Pangyo). You will own the complete talent operations infrastructure, serving as primary administrator for Ashby ATS. This includes permission management, pipeline configuration, custom candidate communication templates, auto-scheduling rules, and integrations across Slack, Notion, AI Notetaker, and Google Workspace. You'll maintain candidate data integrity and compliance, managing retention configurations, record dispositions, duplicate detection, and ensuring privacy practices align with commitments across US and global applicants. Talent analytics and reporting is a core responsibility—you'll build recruiting dashboards tracking funnel conversion, candidate velocity, source effectiveness, and interviewer loads, delivering data-backed insights to leadership to optimize hiring SLAs. You'll evaluate and govern AI tools and low-code integrations to reduce manual overhead and improve candidate experience. You'll partner with recruiting leads to standardize interview loops, establish scorecard guidelines, onboard interviewers, and build Notion documentation for hiring practices. Global logistics includes overseeing candidate touchpoints and job board distribution across US, European, and APAC markets. You'll support the Head of Talent on strategic initiatives including headcount planning, talent brand launches, and recruiting events. Approximately 15-20% of the role involves backup interview coordination during volume spikes. Ideal candidates have experience in fast-scaling tech startups or deep-tech companies with hands-on ATS administration (Ashby, Greenhouse, or Lever). You're analytically minded, comfortable with recruiting metrics and custom reporting, and passionate about process documentation and automation. You thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments, excel at context-switching, and have strong multi-time-zone communication skills.
