Cognition AI is an applied AI lab building end-to-end software agents, known for creating Devin, the first AI software engineer. As Talent Operations Coordinator supporting EMEA, you will be the operational backbone of the hiring function for the region. You'll own interview scheduling and logistics across time zones, managing calendars and last-minute changes to ensure smooth candidate experiences. You'll greet and host candidates onsite, creating a comfortable environment and reading the room to adjust as needed. You'll maintain clear, timely communication with candidates, interviewers, and hiring managers, flagging potential issues before they escalate.
You'll work closely with recruiters and hiring managers, managing the ATS (Ashby) to keep the pipeline clean and organized. Beyond day-to-day coordination, you'll identify inefficiencies in the EMEA hiring process and propose scalable solutions. You'll pull together hiring metrics—pace, time-to-hire, team growth—for leadership visibility, and help execute team events, offsites, and research showcases.
This role is ideal if you thrive in fast-paced, technical environments, enjoy solving logistical puzzles, and genuinely care about candidate experience. You'll have real partnership with GTM and Talent leadership, not just administrative support, with room to grow the role as the EMEA team scales.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of recruiting coordination, recruiting ops, or talent ops experience in a fast-paced, technical environment
- Meticulous attention to detail (e.g., double-checking time zones on calendar invites)
- Proactive problem-solver who identifies and fixes clunky processes without being asked
- Genuine care for candidate experience and interview quality for all parties
- Ability to manage multiple moving pieces simultaneously while staying calm
- Reliable follow-through and trustworthiness with sensitive information
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfort with diverse people
- Based in London or willing to relocate; able to work in-office 5 days per week
- Bonus: prior experience supporting technical or research teams, or familiarity with Ashby ATS
