Expel is seeking a Talent Operations Associate to serve as the operational backbone of its recruiting function. In this role, you'll own interview coordination end-to-end, including complex multi-panel scheduling across time zones, while maintaining candidate momentum through the process. You'll manage all candidate communication throughout the interview lifecycle—from initial scheduling and interview prep through offer coordination and preboarding—ensuring a smooth, professional experience.
You'll partner proactively with recruiters, hiring managers, and interviewers to solve scheduling constraints and prevent candidates from stalling in the pipeline. Your responsibilities include maintaining clean, actionable Greenhouse ATS records, managing candidate profiles, interview plans, scorecards, approvals, and stage movement. As you grow, you'll flex into sourcing for priority roles, translating intake criteria into target profiles, building searches, and identifying strong talent through LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and other channels.
Beyond day-to-day coordination, you'll build fluency in Expel's business, cybersecurity landscape, and talent bar to understand what makes a strong candidate. You'll support initial candidate qualification and recruiter screens, providing evidence-based recommendations. You'll also identify friction points in the recruiting process and help design better templates, workflows, automations, and AI-assisted tools to make hiring more scalable and efficient.
This role offers exposure to recruiting across technical, go-to-market, and corporate functions within a cybersecurity company. You'll work closely with hiring leaders and develop your own recruiting and operational judgment. The environment encourages experimentation with AI and automation, and values team members who identify broken processes and propose better ways of working.
