Diligent, an AI-driven governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) SaaS leader, is creating a newly established Senior HR Business Partner role to drive organizational effectiveness and strategic workforce planning. This is a senior individual contributor position partnering directly with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to shape people strategy, organizational design, and leadership capability across a business unit or regional pod.
Key responsibilities include serving as a strategic HR partner to senior leaders on org design, talent planning, succession planning, and executive coaching. You will develop comprehensive people strategies aligned with business objectives, lead strategic workforce planning (including the intersection of AI agents and human capability), and drive talent and performance cycles including goal-setting, compensation reviews, and 9-box calibrations. The role emphasizes turning workforce and engagement data into actionable insights using analytics platforms, coaching SLT members on their own development, and holding senior leaders accountable for role-modeling organizational standards.
You will own escalated employee relations investigations as an escalation point above front-line HRBPs, act as practice lead for cyclical HR activities, and collaborate with Business Partners and HR Assistants to ensure consistent support. Central to the role is coaching senior leaders with rigor—giving direct, challenging feedback to help leaders and their teams level up together.
Required experience includes serving as a senior HR partner to business leadership within an SLT-aligned HRBP model, expertise in org design and strategic workforce planning, experience leading complex employee relations investigations, proven track record coaching executives, familiarity with HRIS and workflow systems, and openness to AI-enabled HR operations. Strong communication, stakeholder management, judgment, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is comfort operating in a newly defined role where boundaries with adjacent HRBP tiers are still evolving.
