Halter is a climate-tech company revolutionizing sustainable grazing practices with innovative technology that enables farmers and graziers to run more productive operations. Backed by tier-1 investors including Founders Fund and Bessemer Venture Partners, Halter is expanding rapidly into Argentina and Uruguay.
You'll be the People Operations Coordinator for Halter's Argentina and Uruguay operations, based in the Buenos Aires office. Reporting to the Senior People & Performance Partner in Boulder, CO, you'll own the day-to-day logistics and systems that keep the growing team running smoothly.
Your responsibilities include IT and onboarding, office management, local vehicle fleet coordination, and creating memorable team moments. You'll be the boots-on-the-ground expert that global teams depend on for Argentina/Uruguay-specific needs. You'll partner closely with the People Operations & Programs team in New Zealand, plus global leads in fleet, compliance, health & safety, and onboarding.
Your day is varied and hands-on: ensuring new starters have everything ready on day one, solving urgent operational issues (like vehicle handovers), building scalable processes with global partners, organizing team experiences, hosting executive visits, and spending time in the field to understand the work you're supporting. You'll be the go-to person for anything that keeps operations running.
The role is ideal for someone early in their career or pivoting into people operations. You don't need prior HR experience—the company values delivery, curiosity, and proven ability to execute in fast-moving, ambiguous environments. You should be operationally strong, a systems thinker, empathetic, discreet, and comfortable with high-humility, hands-on work. You thrive on unreasonable hospitality and filling other people's cups.
