OpenFX is building infrastructure to enable cross-border payments at scale, moving money as freely as data across time zones and legacy systems. The company is backed by top-tier investors including Accel, Lightspeed, and NFX, with a team drawn from JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, FalconX, PayPal, Affirm, and other leading fintech and infrastructure companies.
The Talent Lead will own and scale OpenFX's talent acquisition function while contributing to broader people operations. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role reporting to the Head of People Operations & Talent, based in Miami, London, Dubai, or Bengaluru.
Key responsibilities include:
**Talent Acquisition & Recruiting**: Own the full recruiting lifecycle from sourcing through close across all functions (engineering, product, compliance, operations, go-to-market). Build and manage sourcing strategies across multiple channels—direct outreach, referrals, job boards, events, partnerships—to develop a strong, diverse pipeline. Manage external recruiting agency relationships, including contract negotiation and performance tracking. Drive employer branding to position OpenFX as a destination for top-tier fintech talent. Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, calibrate candidate profiles, and run structured interviews. Own offer construction and negotiation to ensure competitive, equitable compensation aligned with internal bands and market data.
**Onboarding & New Hire Experience**: Design and continuously improve the global onboarding experience. Coordinate cross-functional logistics—equipment, systems access, buddy programs, first-week schedules—across all locations. Gather structured feedback from new hires to identify gaps and iterate.
**Workforce Planning & Hiring Analytics**: Partner with leadership on quarterly and annual headcount plans aligned with business objectives and budget. Build and maintain hiring dashboards and reporting covering pipeline health, time-to-fill, source effectiveness, offer acceptance rates, and diversity metrics. Use data to identify bottlenecks, forecast hiring needs, and drive continuous improvement.
**Recruiting Operations & Systems**: Own Greenhouse ATS configuration, workflows, and data hygiene. Develop and document standard operating procedures for recruiting. Evaluate and implement tools to improve sourcing, scheduling, assessments, and candidate communication.
**Required Qualifications**: 7–10+ years in talent acquisition with at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity at a high-growth startup or scale-up. Proven track record hiring across multiple functions and geographies. Deep experience managing the full recruiting lifecycle. Strong experience with Greenhouse or comparable ATS, including workflow design and reporting. Experience managing external agency relationships. Hands-on, execution-oriented leader who operates as both strategic partner and individual contributor. Excellent judgment and communication skills. Experience hiring in at least two of: US, UK/Europe, UAE/Middle East, or India.
**Preferred Qualifications**: Experience in fintech, payments, or infrastructure sectors.
