As Talent Acquisition Lead for the US recruiting team, you will build and scale Mistral's North American workforce from the ground up. This is an early-stage opportunity to shape both recruitment strategy and operations while partnering closely with hiring managers across technical and business units.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with technology and business leaders to understand hiring needs and identify exceptional talent
- Own end-to-end recruitment: sourcing, interviewing, and closing candidates for both technical and business roles
- Guide candidates through the hiring process with clear communication and cultural insights
- Develop and refine recruiting processes, tools, and documentation to improve efficiency and outcomes
- Use data to diagnose process issues and propose solutions
- Deliver high-quality candidate experience in a competitive talent market
- Collaborate with peers to continuously raise hiring standards
- Contribute to defining and evolving Mistral's US talent acquisition approach
Required qualifications:
- Minimum 6 years of recruiting experience, including 2+ years in a startup or high-growth company
- Demonstrated ability to independently hire for complex technical and business roles
- Experience working across multiple locations or markets
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and switching between strategic and hands-on work
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to influence peers and senior stakeholders without direct authority
- Organized, detail-oriented, able to manage shifting priorities
- Professional experience with modern recruiting tools (Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter, Modernloop)
- Track record of hiring for both business and tech roles
