The Talent Acquisition Specialist role is a full-cycle recruiting position focused on scaling Artera's non-technical teams during a high-growth phase. Reporting to the SVP of People, you will own recruiting for Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and G&A functions while also serving as the operational backbone of the recruiting function.
Key responsibilities include: executing full-cycle recruiting from role discovery through offer and close; developing creative sourcing strategies to build qualified pipelines; partnering with hiring managers on hiring goals and market insights; conducting initial candidate screens; managing candidate experience with professionalism and empathy; orchestrating complex interview loops across time zones; maintaining ATS (Lever) data integrity and funnel reporting; generating offer letters; and proactively implementing AI-driven workflows to increase team velocity.
You will need 2+ years of recruiting experience with exposure to both full-cycle work and recruiting operations. Demonstrated success recruiting non-technical roles in GTM or G&A is required. Strong AI literacy is essential—you should actively use tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or specialized recruiting AI for sourcing, content drafting, and task management. You must be detail-oriented, an excellent communicator across channels, data-driven with ATS reporting, skilled at project management, collaborative, and adaptable to ambiguity. The role requires 5 days per week on-site at the Santa Barbara headquarters.
Bonus experience includes healthcare or health tech recruiting background, familiarity with Lever, LinkedIn Recruiter, Pillar, Google Workspace, and growth-stage startup experience.
