Pixxel, a space data company and spacecraft manufacturer, is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join its People team. This is a hands-on, strategic role focused on scaling the company by identifying and attracting world-class talent in space technology, aerospace, and engineering—a competitive, niche industry.
You will own the full recruitment lifecycle for mid to leadership-level technical roles, from strategy through execution. Key responsibilities include:
• Strategic Sourcing & Mapping: Lead advanced industry talent mapping across aerospace, satellite technology, imaging science, and data science domains to identify top-tier professionals globally.
• Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage end-to-end recruitment for diverse technical roles—hardware, software, systems, and mission-critical positions—ensuring exceptional candidate experience.
• Pipeline Development: Build and maintain talent pipelines for niche, hard-to-fill roles in space, defense, and remote sensing sectors. Develop and maintain engagement with passive candidates through personalized outreach and relationship building.
• Candidate Engagement & Closing: Articulate Pixxel's vision and value proposition to successfully close candidates. Negotiate offers and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Data-Driven Strategy: Leverage recruitment analytics, dashboards, and metrics (time-to-hire, source-of-hire, pipeline conversion) to track performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize sourcing strategies.
• Stakeholder Partnership: Partner with hiring managers and leadership to define role requirements, align hiring strategy, forecast workforce planning, and provide market intelligence on talent trends.
Required: 6+ years of proven, hands-on experience in industry talent mapping, strategic sourcing, and passive candidate engagement, ideally in high-growth or niche technology sectors. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), analytical acumen with recruitment data and dashboards, and a proactive, self-starter mindset comfortable with autonomy in a fast-paced startup environment.
Preferred: 6–8 years full-cycle recruitment with 3+ years in technical hiring for engineering or hardware roles. Proven track record in deep-tech industries. Prior experience hiring for space technology, defense, aerospace, or remote sensing is highly valued. Headhunting or executive search firm background (Michael Page, Heidrick & Struggles, Korn Ferry, Spencer Stuart) is advantageous. Global sourcing experience, ATS/LinkedIn proficiency, and strong data analytics capability (Excel, modeling, insights) are beneficial. Must be deeply curious about space and satellite technology and able to manage multiple requirements simultaneously.
Benefits include health insurance, unlimited leaves, flexible working hours, role-based remote work, relocation assistance, mental wellness services, creche facility, and employee stock options.
