Stord is a rapidly growing commerce-enablement platform that powers seamless checkout through delivery for leading DTC and B2B brands. The company manages over $10 billion in annual commerce through its fulfillment, warehousing, transportation, and software suite (OMS, WMS, Pre/Post-Purchase platforms). Backed by top-tier investors including Kleiner Perkins and Founders Fund, Stord is on track to double revenue in the next 18 months and is strategically scaling teams across the organization.
You will own full-cycle recruiting for Stord's most competitive and highest-impact technical and product hires: Data Engineers, Data Scientists, AI Engineers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers. This is a hybrid technical and product recruiter role where you'll evaluate candidates' system design capabilities, product sense, and roadmap thinking with equal fluency.
Key responsibilities include: managing end-to-end recruiting (intake through offer negotiation and close); building creative sourcing strategies for hard-to-find skillsets using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean/X-ray search, GitHub, and niche communities; partnering directly with Engineering, Data, AI, and Product leadership to define role requirements and build scalable hiring plans; delivering exceptional candidate experience as a brand ambassador; developing fluency in engineering, data, and product domains to accurately screen for technical depth and role fit; tracking pipeline health and conversion metrics; continuously refining interview processes and scorecards; and collaborating with People Ops and Compensation to ensure consistent, equitable hiring practices.
You'll need 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with strong focus on technical and/or product hiring. Required skills include advanced Boolean/X-ray search, passive candidate outreach, ability to credibly engage technical stakeholders, excellent communication and relationship-building, experience managing high-volume multi-req pipelines in fast-paced environments, proficiency with ATS systems (Workday, Greenhouse, Lever) and recruiting tools, and a data-driven approach to pipeline metrics.
Bonus qualifications include in-house recruiting at high-growth startups, AI/ML or applied data science recruiting experience, background in software engineering or product management, experience with headcount planning, logistics/supply chain/e-commerce industry knowledge, and employer branding initiatives.
