Airwallex is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to own full-cycle recruiting for its Product and Design organizations. This is a high-impact, hands-on role based in San Francisco or New York City, reporting to the broader Talent Acquisition leadership.
You will partner directly with hiring managers across Product Management, Product Strategy, Data Science, and Design to fill critical roles supporting Airwallex's payments, treasury, spend, issuing, and platform products serving 250,000+ customers globally. The role combines strategic workforce planning with hands-on recruiting execution in a competitive fintech talent market.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with senior leaders and hiring managers to define role requirements and build clear, effective hiring strategies for product and design functions
- Design and execute creative, data-driven sourcing strategies across platforms, events, and outreach to attract diverse talent
- Manage the full recruiting lifecycle from intake through offer close, including candidate screening, interview coordination, feedback calibration, and compensation negotiation
- Act as a talent advisor to Product and Design hiring managers, providing market intelligence, candidate insights, and pipeline data to inform hiring decisions and workforce planning
- Ensure a high-quality candidate experience at every stage, reflecting Airwallex's operating principles and culture
- Collaborate with Employer Branding, People Partners, and Total Rewards to strengthen Airwallex's positioning in the product and design talent market
You bring 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with meaningful focus on product management, product strategy, design, or related disciplines in technology or startup environments. You have proven ability to influence hiring managers and senior stakeholders on talent strategy, strong sourcing skills with a track record of building diverse pipelines, and experience with applicant tracking systems (Ashby, Greenhouse). Excellent communication and organizational skills enable you to manage multiple searches simultaneously.
Preferred experience includes recruiting in high-growth fintech, payments, or financial infrastructure companies with familiarity navigating global or multi-regional hiring. You operate effectively in high-standards, fast-iteration environments with an entrepreneurial mindset and bias toward action. You're curious, adaptable, and passionate about building teams that shape the future of financial technology.
