Airwallex is a unified payments and financial platform serving over 250,000 global businesses including Brex, Rippling, Navan, and Qantas. The company operates across 27 offices with 2,300+ employees and is valued at $11 billion, backed by leading investors including Sequoia, Visa, and Mastercard. As a Talent Acquisition Partner based in Melbourne or Sydney, you will drive Airwallex's growth across ANZ through end-to-end recruitment. You'll own a mixed portfolio spanning high-volume go-to-market roles (AEs, AMs, SDRs) and senior corporate/leadership positions. This is a hands-on, strategic role where you'll partner directly with executives to shape hiring plans, advise on talent strategy, and raise hiring standards across the organization. Key responsibilities include running full-cycle searches with sourcing, screening, interview management, offer negotiation, and onboarding. You'll develop data-driven sourcing strategies using LinkedIn, market mapping, networking, and AI tools to build strong candidate pipelines. You'll manage competing priorities and high requisition volume while maintaining quality and cultural alignment. You'll leverage AI tools, Ashby ATS, and recruitment analytics to streamline workflows and generate insights. You'll also deliver exceptional candidate experience through clear communication and confident closing, and mentor peers on best practices. You bring 7–12 years of full-cycle recruiting experience with proven success in both high-volume and senior hiring in fast-paced environments. You have tech or fintech company experience, comfort with ambiguity and high-growth settings, and demonstrated strength running independent end-to-end searches. You've partnered directly with senior stakeholders as a trusted advisor, influencing decisions with data and judgment. You have practical experience with AI tools and modern recruiting technology (AI notetakers, sourcing agents, sequencing tools, analytics). Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, with ability to context-switch between high-volume and niche mandates across multiple countries. The role is based in Melbourne or Sydney with 3 days in office per week.
