Valar Atomics is building scalable, factory-made advanced nuclear systems to unlock clean, high-temperature power for industrial applications, hydrogen production, and next-generation manufacturing. The company is backed by Series A funding and is constructing its first pilot plant in Orangeville, Utah.
As Director of Supply Chain Systems & Governance, you will own the strategy, architecture, and integration of Valar's supply chain technology stack (ERP, MRP, WMS, TMS, and related systems) to support new product introduction, manufacturing scale-up, and business growth. You will report to the Manufacturing organization and lead a lean team responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving supply chain tools, controls, and reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
• Develop and execute the roadmap and technical architecture for all supply chain systems, ensuring scalability, compliance, and extensibility as the company grows from pilot to production phases.
• Establish and enforce data governance frameworks covering item master data, BOMs, supplier records, and other critical supply chain information to ensure accuracy, integrity, access controls, and auditability.
• Design and implement controls for change management, testing, and system releases to maintain business continuity during implementations.
• Define reporting standards and dashboards that provide leadership with real-time visibility into supply chain execution, performance metrics, and KPIs.
• Lead cross-functional system implementations from requirements gathering through deployment, partnering with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and IT to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
• Build scalable policies and procedures that balance operational speed with compliance requirements in a highly regulated nuclear industry.
• Proactively identify systems and data risks, develop mitigation plans, and drive change management for new systems and process rollouts to ensure adoption and business continuity.
