Wolt is a global delivery platform operating in over 500 cities across 30 countries. This role is a key position managing supply chain operations for Wolt Market in Finland.
As Supply Chain Manager, you will own a broad portfolio of supply chain responsibilities including inventory and availability management, demand forecasting, supplier performance management, and operational supplier relationships. You will use data and commercial judgment to balance availability, inventory, shrinkage, and profitability while supporting both customer satisfaction and business performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and driving core supply chain responsibilities for Wolt Market Finland alongside the local supply chain team
- Managing and continuously improving inventory availability, stock levels, and inventory health while balancing multiple competing priorities
- Analyzing demand, inventory, availability, shrinkage, and supplier performance to translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Owning and improving demand forecasting and replenishment processes, including forecasting around promotions and seasonal events
- Monitoring supply chain KPIs, identifying performance gaps and root causes, and independently developing and executing improvement actions
- Working closely with Category teams to evaluate supply chain implications of supplier, assortment, promotion, and commercial decisions
- Partnering with Store Operations to identify and solve supply chain-related operational challenges
- Managing operational supplier relationships and collaborating on ordering, delivery performance, lead times, and supply chain improvements
- Identifying structural supplier or assortment-related challenges and developing commercially sound solutions
- Owning complex projects and workstreams from analysis through implementation and results measurement
- Contributing to implementation and continuous improvement of supply chain tools, systems, automation, and processes
- Using data, analytical tools, and AI to diagnose complex problems and exercise sound judgment in determining solutions
- Proactively identifying new business needs and improvement opportunities
- Working closely with the Finland Supply Chain Analyst, providing guidance and informal mentoring
- Collaborating with regional supply chain teams and wider supply chain community on cross-country projects and best practices
- Communicating clearly and proactively with stakeholders across supply chain, category, store operations, finance, product, and other functions
- Managing multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-moving environment while maintaining quality and follow-through
- Taking a hands-on approach, moving between strategic analysis, problem-solving, and operational execution as needed
- Demonstrating excellent business judgment and a practical, solution-oriented approach
- Contributing positively to Wolt's culture and being an active team member
Requirements:
- Strong experience in supply chain, inventory management, replenishment, demand planning, or closely related field, ideally within grocery, retail, e-commerce, or fast-moving environments
- Strong understanding of inventory and replenishment principles and trade-offs between availability, stock levels, shrinkage, and profitability
- Demonstrated ability to independently solve complex supply chain and business problems using data, structured analysis, and commercial judgment
- Experience working with demand forecasting and translating forecasts into inventory and replenishment decisions
- Strong commercial understanding and ability to assess supply chain decisions in context of broader business performance and profitability
- Experience collaborating with commercial or category teams and confidence in constructively challenging decisions based on data and supply chain expertise
- Experience working with suppliers and analyzing and improving supplier performance
- Ability to take ownership of complex projects and workstreams and drive them from problem identification to implementation with limited guidance
- High level of autonomy and ability to determine appropriate methods and approaches when faced with new or ambiguous assignments
- Strong stakeholder-management skills and ability to build credible working relationships across different functions and organizational levels
- Ability and willingness to share expertise, provide guidance, and informally mentor less experienced colleagues without formal people-management responsibility
- Highly analytical, structured, and detail-oriented while maintaining strong understanding of bigger commercial picture
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environment with several competing priorities
- Advanced skills in analytical and productivity tools such as Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel; experience with BI and supply chain systems is an advantage
- Passion for analytical excellence, continuous improvement, and using data to make better decisions
- Fluency in English; Finnish language skills are an advantage
