Unlimited Industries is automating construction end-to-end to address infrastructure decay and workforce challenges. The company serves as Engineer of Record on roughly $10B of capital projects across utility-scale energy and data center infrastructure, with rapid growth ahead. You will lead the company's first full-time supply chain function, managing engagement with manufacturers of transformers, switchgear, inverters, structural steel, cable, and related equipment. This is not traditional procurement (RFPs, bidding, order placement); instead, you'll build and foster a supply chain as a high-growth product company would—through deep relationships, becoming the best customer your partners have, and continuously improving speed and capacity together. The core challenge: most manufacturers are built for today's pace. The projects Unlimited designs will demand far more, far faster. You'll work closely with the engineering team to understand their needs, help suppliers optimize for rate and capacity, and prepare them for the scale of demand coming. You'll drive automation of repetitive processes using AI, turning supplier constraints into engineering design parameters and vice versa. This is an early-stage role with no established procurement department or bureaucracy. You'll travel to suppliers, factories, and job sites. The company values technical excellence, mission alignment, and the belief that this work is foundational to humanity's future. REQUIREMENTS: - 5 to 20 years in supply chain, sourcing, procurement, or manufacturing operations for energy, construction, or complex industrial systems - Proven track record leading supply chains for complex industrial equipment and systems, ideally in energy or construction - Deep understanding of factory operations: capacity, throughput, lead times, and scaling production - Experience helping a supplier or your own operation scale output significantly - Strong supplier relationships and trust; ability to get honest conversations about constraints - Ability to translate between engineering requirements and manufacturing capabilities - Comfort with AI automation for repetitive tasks - Engineering background is a plus - Bonus: existing relationships with energy equipment manufacturers (transformers, switchgear, inverters, trackers); experience standing up or scaling manufacturing capacity; supply chain experience at fast-scaling hardware companies (automotive, aerospace, robotics)
