Curri is a YC-backed (S19) on-demand last-mile logistics platform serving the construction and industrial supplies industry. The company operates a nationwide fleet of cars, trucks, and flatbeds to solve inefficiencies in construction supply delivery.
As Supervisor of Service Operations, you will lead frontline service execution and manage a team of Service Representatives and Specialists. Your core responsibilities include coaching and developing team members through regular 1:1s with emphasis on performance, accountability, and career growth. You will own day-to-day operations including live queue management, shift coverage, and adherence to service level commitments.
You'll serve as the primary escalation lead for complex customer issues and deliveries, exercising sound judgment under pressure to maintain high-quality outcomes. You will develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring consistent training and alignment across the team. A key part of the role involves identifying operational gaps, risks, and inefficiencies, then partnering cross-functionally to implement scalable solutions.
The ideal candidate has proven frontline people leadership experience with a strong coaching and performance management approach. You should have hands-on experience running real-time operations such as live queues, dispatch, logistics, or high-volume service environments. Strong judgment, clear communication, and process discipline are essential. Bonus experience includes supervising service teams in logistics, dispatch, or last-mile delivery; demonstrating success through coaching rather than individual heroics; and comfort operating in fast-changing environments with limited structure.
