WelbeHealth is seeking a Supervisor for Medicare/Medicaid Eligibility to lead operations and oversight of the eligibility process for seniors in their PACE (Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) model. This is a management role responsible for leading a team of Eligibility Advocates and Coordinators through day-to-day priorities with a data-driven approach. Key responsibilities include managing the Eligibility Advocate team to ensure effective participant eligibility maintenance, reinstatements, and enrollment processing across Medicaid (DHCS) and Medicare (CMS). You will set priorities, caseloads, and workflow assignments; develop proactive outreach strategies to prevent coverage lapses; oversee enrollment and disenrollment processing; and manage direct reports including hiring, training, supervising, and mentoring. The role requires partnering with Operations, Quality, and Enrollment team leaders to refine workflows and standard operating procedures, supporting implementation of new eligibility policies or regulatory changes, and maintaining tracking tools such as hold trackers, renewal logs, and escalation dashboards. Required qualifications include an Associate's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent professional experience), minimum three years of experience in Medicaid/Medicare eligibility or social services, minimum one year working with governmental agencies, and two years of supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members. Strong KPI management skills and experience leading in a data-driven organization are essential. Ideal candidates have prior experience leading eligibility teams for PACE organizations. Candidates must be residing in California due to occasional travel required to WelbeHealth PACE Centers. The role offers a competitive total rewards package including base salary plus bonus, 401(k) match, comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, vision), 17 days of PTO, 12 observed holidays, 6 sick days, and additional benefits.
