Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, seeks a Supervisor for Federal Materials to lead warehouse operations and materials management in strict compliance with federal regulations. You will develop and implement material management strategies aligned with FAR/DFARS guidelines, manage government-furnished property (GFP), and oversee inventory accuracy through cycle counting, FIFO adherence, and scrap/obsolescence management. The role requires implementing end-to-end material management measures, including utilization of ERP/WMS systems and federal registry software (PIEE/WAWF) to track inventory and generate data-driven reports. You will collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, production planning, manufacturing engineering, logistics, and quality teams to optimize demand forecasting, procurement planning, and timely material delivery. Key responsibilities include leading and developing a high-performing warehouse team, providing guidance and performance feedback, and fostering a culture of compliant operational excellence. You will analyze material usage trends, identify process improvement opportunities, and implement lean practices to optimize material handling and distribution. Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements including ITAR/EAR, OSHA safety standards, and AS9100 quality control protocols. The ideal candidate has extensive defense supply chain knowledge, has developed and implemented SOPs under FAR/DFARS guidelines, has experience with ERP/WMS implementations including government property tracking integrations, and has a proven track record managing expensive, federally owned inventory. You should be able to operate autonomously, keep teams motivated, excel under rigorous audit standards, and drive continuous process improvement.
