Salary: USD 86,000 - 114,000 / annual

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead and optimize AP operations in Costa Mesa, California. This role manages the full procure-to-pay cycle, from invoice receipt through payment disbursement, while leading and developing an AP team. Key responsibilities include overseeing all AP operations and ensuring accurate, timely processing of vendor invoices with proper coding, authorization, and compliance. You will supervise invoice reconciliation, vendor statement resolution, and payment disbursements while maintaining strong vendor relationships and negotiating favorable terms. The role requires implementing and optimizing AP technologies, particularly Oracle Fusion ERP systems and automation tools such as OCR (Optical Character Recognition) and IDP (Intelligent Document Processing) for invoice data extraction and process automation. You will develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets, ensure regulatory compliance, and support internal and external audits. Reporting and analysis responsibilities include generating AP aging reports, vendor spend analysis, and KPI tracking to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Team development is critical—you will recruit, train, manage AP staff, conduct performance reviews, and foster a collaborative, high-performing environment. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (CPA/CMA a plus), minimum 7+ years progressive AP experience with 3+ years in a supervisory/management role, and mandatory expertise with Oracle Fusion AP module. Demonstrated experience implementing or optimizing OCR and IDP technologies in AP environments is required. Strong accounting principles knowledge, excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, data analysis proficiency, and exceptional organizational abilities are essential. Must be a U.S. Person due to access to export-controlled information.
