Salary: USD 129,000 - 171,000 / annual
Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Subcontract Administrator to own the full lifecycle of major subcontractor relationships. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, program management, legal, quality, manufacturing, and procurement, managing complex, high-value subcontracts from RFP through award, execution, and closeout.
Key responsibilities include:
• Own the complete subcontract lifecycle: proposal evaluation, negotiation, award, execution, administration, and closeout on complex, high-value subcontracts.
• Draft and manage technical scope documents (SOWs and Subcontract Data Requirements Lists) aligned with negotiated technical scope and drive change management.
• Lead commercial negotiations on price, terms, deliverables, and schedule while generating required FAR/DFARS documentation.
• Support prime proposal captures by partnering with Contracts and Program Management on flowdowns, proposal schedules, and subcontract evaluation.
• Monitor ongoing subcontractor performance across cost, schedule, and technical metrics; run variance investigations and drive product acceptance reviews.
• Work cross-functionally with program management, engineering, legal, contracts, proposal, and procurement teams.
• Lead process improvements and scaling of Anduril's subcontracting operations as volume grows.
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS, CAS, ITAR, and internal government-contracting requirements.
Required: Bachelor's degree in law, accounting, finance, business, supply chain management, or related field; 3+ years managing full-lifecycle, high-complexity subcontracts across multi-discipline programs; strong FAR/DFARS, CAS, and ITAR knowledge; track record evaluating subcontractor performance; ability to work onsite in Costa Mesa; eligible for Top Secret security clearance.
Preferred: Deep government contracts and Cost Accounting Standards experience; self-starter bias toward action; high-tech, high-mix/low-volume product development background; fast-paced startup/scale-up experience; active Top Secret clearance.
