Salary: USD 169,000 - 243,000 / annual

Cloudflare is seeking a Strategy & M&A Lead to join its high-velocity Strategy organization, which operates at the intersection of business, technology, and go-to-market execution. The Strategy team spans seven core pillars including Corporate Development & M&A, and serves as connective tissue across the enterprise, collaborating with Sales, Product & Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Policy. The role focuses primarily on M&A with additional exposure to partnership efforts. You will be part of a small, high-agency team responsible for sourcing and executing acquisitions and partnerships that accelerate Cloudflare's growth. Key responsibilities include: - Playing a key role across all phases of M&A from ideation through execution - Partnering with the M&A team and R&D/GTM leaders to evaluate M&A opportunities - Driving deal execution end-to-end, including financial and strategic analysis of potential transactions, supporting negotiation processes, and leading internal deal teams - Supporting M&A integration efforts to ensure post-close success - Leading or supporting new partnership efforts and other strategy projects as needed You should bring 7+ years of professional or military experience that includes investment banking/investing and corporate development at high-growth B2B technology companies. Technical aptitude and product fluency in Internet infrastructure landscapes (AI, cybersecurity, infrastructure, developer tools, B2B SaaS) are essential. You must demonstrate ownership and execution capability, having led or played key roles in M&A processes end-to-end from sourcing through closing. An intellectual curiosity and analytical mindset—naturally solving ambiguous technical and business challenges—are critical to success.
