Anthropic's Beneficial Deployments team is seeking a Partnerships Manager to build and scale the company's engagement with the US public health system. This is a strategic role that blends partnership management with early-stage strategy development, distinct from traditional sales functions.
You will own a portfolio of flagship deployments across federal, state, and local public health agencies, coordinating with Applied AI, product, policy, and go-to-market teams to deliver measurable impact. Key responsibilities include sourcing and evaluating new partners, structuring engagements that navigate government procurement and data governance constraints, and translating partner needs into deployment plans that account for legacy systems and workforce realities.
Beyond partnership execution, you'll contribute to Anthropic's US public health strategy by identifying priority partners and use cases, bringing field insights back to inform the broader health work. You'll support the creation of shared resources and digital public goods, build evidence through academic partnerships and evaluation studies, and represent Anthropic at public health convenings with funders and policymakers.
This emerging area requires someone comfortable with ambiguity and capable of building playbooks from scratch. You'll help shape team processes as the function grows and hand off opportunities better suited to scaled sales or public sector motions.
Expect approximately 20% travel to partner sites and SF headquarters every 6 weeks. The role requires deep credibility in the US public health ecosystem, technical fluency with AI/LLM concepts, and genuine commitment to strengthening public health systems and the communities they serve.
