The company works with Volkswagen, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Bosch, and Rheinmetall, and is backed by HV Capital, DTCP, La Famiglia, and Salesforce. As Strategy & Operations Lead, you will sit in the Founders' Office and own decisions that set SPREAD's strategic direction. Operating Rhythm: Run the leadership team's operating cadence—weekly leadership meetings, monthly workshops, half-year offsites—setting agendas, preparing discussions, and tracking decisions and tasks. Communication & Alignment: Own the monthly company Assembly, crafting the narrative and deck so every team understands SPREAD's position, direction, and implications for their work. Ecosystem & Partnerships: Build and steer SPREAD's partner ecosystem across hyperscalers, systems integrators, strategy consultancies, and tech companies. Convert relationships into commercial opportunities, co-marketing, and integrated offerings. Investor Relations: Prepare investor materials and board reporting across fundraising rounds and quarterly cycles. Required qualifications: 4+ years in strategy consulting, investment banking, or operating strategy at a scale-up with end-to-end ownership and direct client exposure. Deep understanding of automotive and/or defense industries—you can discuss vehicle or defense platform development from requirement through field service. Business-fluent German and English. Strong analytical toolkit for quantitative analysis and executive-level materials. Track record driving decisions with executive stakeholders. Experience translating strategy into action via OKRs or operating rhythms. Commercial instinct for partnerships and customer opportunities. AI-native working style using AI tools daily for research, analysis, drafting, and automation. Based in Berlin or nearby for regular in-office collaboration.
