Parasail is building an inference cloud platform that aggregates GPU capacity across infrastructure providers into a unified platform for AI-native companies. The company helps customers deploy and scale production AI workloads without managing underlying infrastructure. You will be Parasail's first dedicated Strategic Partnerships Manager, owning and expanding relationships with GPU capacity providers, hardware manufacturers, and AI model companies. This is a hands-on role with meaningful ownership from day one. Key responsibilities include: - Own and manage GPU provider relationships, handling regular touchpoints, capacity availability, pricing negotiations, and rental agreements to secure preferred compute access as the fleet grows. - Source, qualify, and onboard new capacity providers to diversify supply and improve commercial terms. - Develop relationships with hardware manufacturers and emerging silicon/accelerator companies to position Parasail for early access to new hardware and preferred partnership terms. - Build strategic relationships with AI model companies in the US and internationally, identifying commercial and ecosystem opportunities. - Maintain visibility into capacity pipeline, provider health, and rental economics against fleet growth and financial plans. - Represent Parasail at partner meetings and industry events domestically and internationally, pursuing new business opportunities. You'll work closely with company leadership on consequential commercial decisions and help build out the partnerships function as the company scales. REQUIREMENTS: - 3–6+ years in partnerships, business development, strategic sourcing, consulting, or account management, ideally in cloud, infrastructure, semiconductors, or AI. - Strong communication skills and confidence managing senior external relationships (GPU cloud operators, hardware executives, AI model teams). - Commercial judgment: ability to model deal economics, weigh tradeoffs, and negotiate durable agreements. - Familiarity with GPU and accelerator landscape and cloud compute economics, or ability to learn the market quickly. - Comfort working across geographies and cultures. - Initiative, organization, and follow-through to manage ambiguous problems independently while collaborating with a small team. Nice to have: Existing relationships with GPU providers, hardware manufacturers, or AI labs; experience with China-based technology companies; professional working proficiency in Mandarin; MBA or comparable business training.
