Wayve is building an AI platform for autonomous driving using embodied intelligence and real-world learning. This role owns and scales Wayve's global fleet operations partner ecosystem across the UK, Germany, Japan, and the US.
You will take end-to-end ownership of Wayve's external partner network that enables safe, reliable fleet operations and driving data collection. Your responsibilities include:
• Manage strategic relationships with external fleet operations partners across four major markets, building trust with partner leadership and navigating disagreements.
• Act as the primary liaison between regional Fleet Operations leads and partners, resolving performance, capacity, and operating-model issues.
• Own contract negotiations, commercial terms, renewals, and contractual compliance; lead recurring partner reviews covering hiring, training, KPIs, and operations.
• Scan the market, source and evaluate new partners, and bring diligence and proposals to leadership.
• Lead partner onboarding, transitions, and offboarding while ensuring operational continuity and capturing learnings across markets.
• Build the global playbook and performance framework for fleet operations partnerships.
• Support Robotaxi operations teams on fleet-related topics as services scale.
You will operate in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment where the partner network is scaling rapidly and the operating model is still being refined. This is a role for someone who thrives with real ownership and can bring structure to complex, multi-market situations.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Strong ownership mindset with proven track record managing strategic partnerships or outsourced/vendor relationships end-to-end with clear commercial accountability.
• Experience negotiating commercial terms and contracts, holding partners to KPIs or SLAs, including managing performance issues.
• Operational depth managing partners who deliver frontline operational workforce; credibility across hiring ramp, training, utilization, and quality.
• Comfortable operating across multiple markets and time zones; ability to build trust with partners and stakeholders across different cultures and operating models.
• Ability to bring structure and momentum to fast-moving, ambiguous situations, particularly where a partner network has outgrown its operating model.
• Credible internal partner to operations leaders; work through them rather than around them.
Nice to have:
• 6+ years in strategic partnerships, vendor/outsourcing management, mobility, or operations roles.
• Experience in mobility, autonomy, logistics, or other highly operational or regulated industries.
• Experience managing partners in Germany, Japan, and/or the US.
• Experience standing up a partnership operating model or playbook from scratch.
