HappyRobot is an AI infrastructure platform enabling enterprises to build and orchestrate autonomous AI workforces that make decisions, take action, and run operations across voice, email, and enterprise systems. Founded by Y Combinator (S23) and backed by a16z and Base10 with over $200M raised, the company powers critical operations for global enterprises, with roots in logistics and a proprietary voice stack, models, and orchestration layer. In this Strategic GTM role, you will work closely with HappyRobot's COO and founders to develop and expand relationships with the company's top 100 accounts. You will leverage your network across investors, advisors, and VCs to identify critical use cases and navigate customer organizations to connect with relevant stakeholders and decision-makers. Key responsibilities include: building and maintaining relationships with advisors and strategic partners who generate leads; identifying key decision-makers at target accounts and leveraging network connections; developing deep fluency in top client verticals, understanding operational pressures, buying dynamics, and decision-maker profiles; representing HappyRobot at industry events, investor gatherings, and executive forums; partnering with founders to prioritize relationships and introductions; and tracking relationship activity and pipeline impact to refine strategy. You must have a bachelor's degree from a top-tier institution and 5+ years of experience beginning in a rigorous, quantitative environment (investment banking, private equity/VC, management consulting, or corporate law) followed by a transition into growth, GTM, or business development at a high-growth company. You need an existing, credible network across enterprise decision-makers and/or the private equity, venture capital, and advisor community, plus a track record of converting relationships and introductions into measurable business outcomes. Strong quantitative and analytical skills, sharp business judgment, executive presence, and the ability to build trust quickly with senior stakeholders are essential. You must be comfortable operating with significant autonomy in a fast-paced, early-stage environment. Nice-to-have qualifications include an advanced degree (MBA, JD) from a top program, direct experience inside a VC or PE firm, international GTM or business development experience (particularly EMEA or LATAM), and existing relationships with advisors, investors, or executives relevant to HappyRobot's target markets.
