Checkr is a data platform powering safe and fair decisions through AI verification. The company serves over 140,000 customers including Uber, Airbnb, DoorDash, and Anthropic. Checkr is recognized on the Forbes Cloud 100 2025 list and is a Y Combinator 2024 Breakthrough Company. The Financial Planning & Strategy (FP&S) team sits at the intersection of finance, strategy, and execution. This team shapes business decisions through deep cross-functional partnerships, financial and strategic analyses, and domain expertise. As a Strategic Finance Senior Analyst, you will own revenue and operating expense models that set goals and measure business performance. You'll develop AI-powered workflows, automated analyses, and intelligence systems that redefine what a strategic finance team can accomplish. Your responsibilities include assessing and defining strategic priorities, quantitatively validating high-impact initiatives, and delivering data-driven insights that inform go-to-market tactics, product features, budget allocations, and board materials. You'll collaborate across Sales, Product, Finance, Corporate Development, and other functions to proactively identify opportunities and fuel growth. You'll contribute to long-range, annual, and quarterly planning processes that position the company to accomplish its goals. The ideal candidate brings 4+ years of experience, preferably in investment banking, private equity, or strategic finance/business operations. Experience with consumption-based business models is valuable. You have a proven track record of driving business outcomes through data analytics and financial insights. You've built something with AI—a model, workflow, or automated analysis—and see AI as core to how great finance teams operate. You possess expert-level modeling ability, translating complex business drivers into clear frameworks. Technical proficiency with tools like Adaptive, Claude, Lovable, Salesforce, BI tools (e.g., Omni), and SQL is expected. You identify problems proactively, thrive when answers aren't obvious, and operate with an A-player mindset: raising the bar, moving with urgency, staying resilient through ambiguity, and taking ownership to deliver meaningful outcomes.
