Decagon is a conversational AI platform enabling enterprises to deploy AI agents for customer support and operations. The company is backed by top-tier investors including a16z, Accel, Bain Capital Ventures, Coatue, and Index Ventures, and serves industry leaders like Avis Budget Group, Block's Cash App, Chime, and Oura Health. As one of Decagon's first finance hires, you will own the financial strategy and planning for the go-to-market organization, sitting at the center of critical capital allocation decisions. This is a strategic, embedded finance role—not a reporting function. You'll partner directly with the CRO and CCO to drive revenue growth and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include: - End-to-end sales capacity modeling: headcount planning, ramp assumptions, quota-setting, and territory design in partnership with Pre-Sales, Post-Sales, and RevOps - Ownership of quarterly and annual GTM planning cycles - Design and administration of GTM incentive and commission frameworks, including plan design, payout calculations, and governance - Building and maintaining the comprehensive GTM financial model covering pipeline coverage, bookings, ARR, churn, and expansion - Definition and tracking of GTM-specific KPIs (CAC, payback period, sales efficiency, quota attainment) with crisp reporting to leadership and the Board - Partnership with RevOps to build dashboards and forecasting infrastructure for real-time sales visibility You bring 8-10 years of experience in Strategic Finance, Corporate Finance, GTM Finance, or Revenue Operations at high-growth technology companies, ideally with 2+ years at a top-tier investment banking firm. You are an expert financial modeler with deep SaaS revenue metrics expertise (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, payback period). You have hands-on experience with sales capacity modeling, quota design, and variable compensation structures. You're comfortable working directly with CRM and RevOps data (Salesforce, Gong) to build bottoms-up forecasts. You excel at influencing without authority, distilling complexity into actionable frameworks, and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments. Proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel is required; SQL or BI tools experience is a strong plus.
