Rhoda AI is building generalist intelligent robots with a full robotics stack from hardware to foundation world models. The company has raised over $450M and is scaling aggressively across model research, infrastructure, hardware development, and manufacturing.
As Strategic Finance Manager, you will build and scale the finance function from the ground up, owning the full spectrum of financial operations. Your responsibilities span three core areas:
Financial Planning & Analysis: Own Rhoda's core financial model across planning cycles and scenario analysis. Build scalable FP&A processes including budget cycles, variance reporting, and forecasting cadences. Partner with engineering, hardware, operations, and sales leadership to bring financial rigor to strategic decisions. Conduct ad hoc analysis to support executive decision-making on high-priority initiatives.
Capital Markets & Investor Relations: Support fundraising preparation, data room management, and cap table analysis. Maintain cap table models, option pool analysis, and dilution scenarios. Manage LP information requests, prepare board materials, and maintain reporting cadences with institutional investors.
Commercial Finance & Revenue Infrastructure: Build financial infrastructure for first commercial deployments including contract economics, revenue recognition frameworks, unit economics reporting, and gross margin analysis. Run competitive vendor procurement processes across major spend categories including GPU infrastructure and cloud services. Support commercial contract and vendor agreement negotiations.
You will work directly with the Head of Strategic Finance with high ownership from day one. The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of investment banking experience at a top-tier firm, startup or high-growth company experience, exceptional financial modeling skills, and strong communication abilities. Advanced Excel and Google Sheets proficiency is required. SQL or BI tools experience, capital markets exposure, and intellectual curiosity about AI and robotics are nice-to-have.
